Forget friendships that will last a lifetime, Carlos PenaVega is leaving Dancing With the Stars with two very important items: "Abs and some pelvic thrusting moves."
"I have, like, abs now that I can't even explain," he joked with E! News after getting eliminated from DWTS.
"You're welcome," Carlos' professional partner Witney Carson said. "Your wife can thank me for that later."
Carlos and his wife, Alexa PenaVega, were the first married couple to compete on Dancing With the stars. Carlos made it to the Top 4 before getting sent home. He said the competition between the two made his marriage stronger. Still, he would've liked to get his hands on that trophy.
"I don't think anybody really expects to leave. I think down to the final four it's like anybody can go; it's anybody's game. And tonight, I secretly really wanted to go to the rehearsal studio and stay there until 3 a.m. and come up with a sick routine and try and win this tomorrow, but that didn't happen," he said.
On the bright side, he's still making his way to New York with his cast mates. "It's bittersweet, but it was so fun," he told us. "I literally had the best time ever…I have no complaints."
It's down to Bindi Irwin, Nick Carter and Alek Skarlatos. Who will win? Dancing With the Stars crowns its winner on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
