While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may play a struggling couple on the big screen in their new film By the Sea, they are obviously anything but struggling in real life.

Case in point? The couple looked beyond happy while attending a New York screening of the movie on Tuesday night, setting the standard for #RelationshipGoals as they held hands, smiled and exchanged loving glances toward each other throughout the entire red carpet event

Angelina stunned in a long-sleeved chiffon, baby blue dress which she singed at the waist with a gold belt. Meanwhile, a recently-shaven Brad looked handsome in a layered ensemble with a vest, scarf and blazer which he accessorized with a newsboy cap.

The A-list couple's almost too-cute-to-be-real appearance comes on the heels of their rare, candid interview together on the Today show earlier this week.

Talking with Tom Brokaw, they opened up about the strength of their marriage and how they've overcome the obstacles of Angelina's health together. While Brad couldn't help but gush about his wife's brave decisions to have a double-mastectomy and remove her ovaries, the actress said her husband remained just as courageous.

"I think that for as much as he speaks about my strength, he made it very, very clear to me that what he loved and what was a woman to him was somebody who was smart and capable and cared about her family. It's not about your physical body," Jolie revealed.

"So I knew through my surgeries that he was on my side and that this wasn't going to be something where I was going to feel less of a woman because my husband wasn't going to let that happen."

Brangelina's resilient marriage is exactly the reason they are able to play a unstable couple on the big screen in By the Sea—their first film together in since 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith. As Angelina puts it, "I'm counting on the audience to know that if it was close to us at all, we could never make this film…These aren't our issues."

Clearly!

By the Sea premieres in theaters on Nov. 13.

(E! and Universal Pictures are both members of the NBCUniversal family.)
