Willow Smith has reached that age.

You know, when ya don't want to be treated like a kid anymore.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's daughter turned 15 on Saturday.

"She's fantastic and beautiful but this is the first birthday that Jada and I didn't throw a party for her," the Men In Black star told me last night at the Hollywood Film Awards,

Why not?

Because Willow asked them not to!

"I have a 15-year-old daughter!" Will sighed. "I don't even know how that happened."

Earlier in the day, Will posted a throwback photo of him and Willow as a little girl in his arms on his Facebook page.

"Happy Birthday, my Bean. 15 years old today!!" he wrote. "When you were born it took about 2 seconds to realize that I was willing to die for you. Thank you for correcting my heart – and teaching me how to love without constriction or condition."

At last night's gala, Smith received the Hollywood Actor Award for his work in the upcoming NFL medical drama Concussion.

In the film, he plays Dr. Bennet Omalu, the forensic pathologist who discovered the devastating and life-threatening effects of brain injury cause while playing football.
