She may be in the throws of marital bliss, but Lauren Manzo's head is not in the clouds when it comes to her former cast mate, Teresa Giudice.
During a sit-down with her mother and brothers on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, the newly-married star of Manzo'd With Children was asked if she watched Bravo's Teresa Checks In special episode for Giudice, who has been incarcerated for nearly a year after pleading guilty to multiple counts of fraud in March 2014.
Both Lauren and mom Caroline Manzo admitted to watching the segment. The 26-year-old had a few critical words for the mother of four.
"I feel bad for the kids and I do truly love Joe," she said of Teresa's husband Joe Giudice. "I think she knew what she was doing from the inside."
Without wanting to assume, Cohen quickly asked Manzo to elaborate on what she meant when she said "from the inside." She was immediately flustered by the follow-up question, whispering to her mother in concern.
"I think she knew what to do to make everybody cry," she clarified, alleging that Giudice amped up the drama for an ulterior motive.
Still, Manzo's heart is not made of stone.
"But, it is sad. The girls are sad. I cried a couple times when I was watching it," she added. "I cried with Joe."
In a further moment of clarification, mom came to the rescue attempting to clear up once more the intentions behind her daughters words.
"Oh, so you're saying she knew what she was doing as far as the show went," Caroline said.
"Yeah, yeah," Manzo replied.
