While Joe Giudice has previously described Teresa Giudice's stay in prison as a "low-budget spa," it's not all fun and games for the Real Housewives of New Jersey star.

In fact, in the second episode of her three-part Bravo special Teresa Checks In, she opens up to her husband about getting into some trouble and getting "shaken down" after officials thought she had a cell phone and was tweeting from her prison cell.

The tweet in question was a thank you to her fans for their support, which she enlisted her eldest daughter Gia Giudice to post on her behalf.

Once news got to prison guards, Teresa explains, "You know, they thought I was doing it from here. I got shaken down, like our room got shaken down. I guess they were looking for a cell phone or something."

Recalling the incident causes a look of sadness on Joe's face.

"I never thought my wife would be getting the shakedown," he tells the camera. "That definitely makes me upset, thinking my poor wife has to go through this bulls--t in there."

He attempts to add some humor to the situation by joking, "What did they find during the shakedown? A couple of toys?"

However, Teresa isn't having it, getting a little upset when she explains, "They're so invading! You have to bend down and cough. Like where you going to put it? Up there?"

Of course, she comforts Joe by explaining it's only women who do the strip searching, preventing him from coming down to the prison and doing a "little ass-whooping."

Teresa is expected to finish up her 15-month sentence—the punishment she was given after pleading guilty to fraud—in December. She is passing the time by writing a tell-all memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, which will chronicle her life's story, from childhood to housewife to prison inmate. It's expected to be released in February 2016.
