Lamar Odom has undergone surgery.

E! News learns that the former NBA star had at least one procedure done today. The procedure reportedly involved his chest, however specifics as to whether they were tied to heart or lung problems are unclear, according to TMZ, who first reported the story.

A source tells E! News, "The doctors at Cedars have asked for no visitors" until he improves, but Khloe Kardashian remains by Odom's side in the hospital room. This news comes shortly after the former Los Angeles Lakers player being discharged from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where he has been receiving medical treatment after being found unconscious.

"The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work.

"Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloe," the 31-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wrote on her website on Tuesday morning.

E! News previously reported that Odom has a long road to recovery ahead and is currently being treated for aspiration pneumonia. Khloe continues to remain by his side through this emotional experience, and the pair even decided to call off their divorce.

Khloe's attorney Laura Wasser went into court on Wednesday morning and asked the judge to withdraw the divorce petition that was awaiting a judge's signature. The judge granted the petition and the divorce case is now over.

A source told E! News, "Khloe thinks this was the right thing to do right now."
