Rob Kardashian has been living an isolated life as of late, but the 28-year-old E! star made a rare appearance Monday while driving sister Khloe Kardashian's Range Rover around Los Angeles. Rob was seen shortly after it was announced that Lamar Odom would be transferred to a Los Angeles hospital, with Khloé by his side the entire time.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star hasn't left Lamar's side since he arrived at Sunrise Hospital & Medical center in Las Vegas and she continues to take care of him while in L.A. The 31-year-old was spotted wearing all-black sweats, sunglasses and a messy bun while she made her way onto the helicopter with Lamar.

Although the former Los Angeles Lakers star has a long way to go in terms of recovery, we're told he is now speaking in full sentences and eating food on his own. "You can tell it's taking a toll on Khloe, but she is staying strong for Lamar," a source told E! News.

So strong, in fact, that she makes sure she's always with him no matter what. "She goes everywhere with him. If Lamar leaves the room for testing, she follows," another source revealed.

E! News exclusively reported Monday night that Lamar was given the all clear to depart the Nevada hospital to seek treatment in California. Although Rob didn't travel to Sin City to visit Lamar like the other Kardashian family members, he did send out his thoughts and prayers in a heartwarming Instagram post where he referred to Lamar as his "brother."

"Praying nonstop for my Brother!!" he wrote alongside a pic that showed them hugging.

As for Lamar's overall health, he isn't totally out of the woods...yet. Although he is "making fast progress," the former NBA star still requires dialysis as a result of kidney failure. A CT scan came back clean, but he could still face cognitive issues. Fortunately, he no longer requires an oxygen mask.

For more details on Lamar's current health, how Khloe is helping him recover and what the next steps are for him, be sure to tune into E! News at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. tonight, only on E!
