Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn't dancing around the issue when it comes to former Dancing With the Stars partner Hope Solo

The 35-year-old DWTS ballroom veteran had some strong words to share about his partner from Season 13 of ABC's hit show. While the couple placed fourth in the competition, their camaraderie off-camera was anything but winning.

During an interview on the Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss podcast, the dance floor hunk was asked to play a round of "F–k, Marry, Kill" with three of his former teammates.

"I would probably marry...somebody like, Misty May-Treanor was awesome and she's an amazing chick," he said. "And I would definitely kill Hope Solo."

It's no secret already that the Olympic gold medal soccer player is not too fond of Chmerkovskiy, documenting her feelings on the ballroom staple in her tell-all, A Memoir of Hope. In the book, the 34-year-old alleged that her dance partner treated her roughly during rehearsals for the show, going as far as slapping her across the face on one occasion.

Now, it's time to hear Chmerkovskiy's side of the story, which he gave with little restraint.

"She's just a s--tty person," he explained. "People can be bad or good or whatever. You can have a s--tty life growing up. You can have a tough upbringing. You can have history. You can have whatever. But, if you are just a bad person, you know what I mean? There's no excuse for that."

Chmerkovskiy was most likely referencing the goalie's troubled childhood, documented in great detail in her book. Her mother was an alcoholic, her father was homeless and jailed, and the family was broke, so much so that her mother and step-father once told her to quit soccer because they couldn't afford it.

In 2014, Solo was arrested on domestic violence charges that she had abused her 17-year-old nephew. While the charges were later dismissed, she was briefly suspended from the U.S. women's soccer team.

Curiously, Solo posted a photo to her Twitter account of all three DWTS judges holding up signs with "1" scores. A possible jab back at Chmerkovskiy in light of his latest remarks? We wouldn't be surprised if it was, in fact, discreet shade.

While they seemed to fake the mid-twirl chemistry back in 2011, these two clearly will not be reuniting for a tango anytime soon.
