Update!

And we're hanging on his every word (though, to be fair, he's doing a lot of re-tweeting)...

He may not be much for entitlements, but Donald Trump is providing us with quite the public service tonight.

The Republican presidential candidate promised to live-tweet tonight's first Democratic primary debate, a vow that—just as he suspected—garnered quite a bit of attention, including from belle of the ball Hillary Clinton.

"Glad you'll be watching. It's going to be 'huge,'" the still-predicted-winner-when-this-whole-thing-is-over tweeted back at Trump, flexing the humor muscle she recently flaunted on Saturday Night Live.

And now that he's done taking stock of all the people chattering about his promised tweeting venture...

He's delivering! Though he's kinda skating by with some zinger retweets as well...

"We will all have fun and hopefully learn something tonight," Trump tweeted right before go-time. "I will shoot straight and call it as I see it, both the good and the bad. Enjoy!"

Well, you heard what the man said! Here is a sampling of the Donald Trump tweets from #DemDebate night:
