Gird your ovaries.

Seriously, it's ovary overload this morning as we have our first look at Ben Higgins as the Bachelor...and he's holding a baby. We repeat: Ben is holding a baby. And to answer your question: No, one of his admirers did NOT bring her child to meet the Bach on the first night.

Filming for the 21st season of The Bachelor kicked off on Thursday night, with series creator Mike Fleiss gifting Bachelor Nation with a photo of the 27-year-old software salesman in his suit and tie. Oh, and he had the cutest accessory: Ben, Fleiss' infant son.

"The Bens on night one!!!" Fleiss captioned the too-cute-for-words pic. (Hm...could that also be a cheeky tease for fans who wanted Ben Zorn as the Bachelor, too?!)

Ben kicked off his journey as The Bachelor, meeting the 25 women who are hoping to become his wife.

"I never thought I'd be in that situation," Ben recently said of dating more than one woman at once. "I'm nervous to meet the women that take some time out of their life to come hang out with me."

And while there were rumors circling that Tenley Molzahn, a Bachelor. Bachelor Pad and Bachelor in Paradise alum who was spending time with Ben recently, would be joining his season, a source told E! News that she probably wasn't going to pull a Nick Viall. "She and Ben had the opportunity to get to know each other and I think if they connected on the level that Kaitlyn [Bristowe] and Nick did, it would be a different story," our source tells us. "Also, Tenley wants to be pursued, not the pursuer and she doesn't want to be put in the insecure position of competing with a bunch of girls."

As for what Ben is looking for in a future wife, he revealed, "I think when two people are joining lives together there has to be a ton of communication amongst those two people. I think just being able to live life together is what I'm looking for."

Here's hoping he'll find it!

The Bachelor returns Monday, Jan. 4 on ABC.
