Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are going to have a baby, y'all!

The spunky supermodel announced on her Instagram Monday that she is three months pregnant with the couple's first child.

"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family," she wrote on social media. "We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx"

A source tells E! News, "Chrissy and John are so happy. It's not been the easiest for Chrissy, but they knew when the right time came they would be pregnant."

The insider adds, "Chrissy is feeling great and enjoying every second being pregnant. She is taking good care of her body and making sure her and their baby are healthy and feeling good. John has been a huge support for Chrissy during this time. He could not be more excited until their baby comes into this world."

The two lovebirds have been very vocal in the last year that they definitely want to have children, and just recently while at the 2015 Television Critics Association summer press tour, where she was promoting her upcoming show FABLife alongside Tyra Banks, Chrissy exclaimed that she's ready to settle down.

"I'm aging. I love bouncing around. I love going on tour with John, we've considered ourselves bi-coastal for 10 years now. It's definitely weird and different to have a home now," she said. "I'm ready to have a family and call Los Angeles my home."

Teigen was also very open about revealing her fertility struggles during an emotional discussion on the morning show.

"I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble," Teigen confessed, adding that they've seen fertility doctors. "We would have kids five, six years ago if it'd happened," she added. "But my gosh, it's been a process!"

Chrissy continued, "So, anytime somebody asks me if I'm going to have kids, I'm like, 'One day, you're going to ask that to the wrong girl who's really struggling, and it's going to be really hurtful to them. And I hate that. So, I hate it. Stop asking me!'"

Afterwards, the supermodel took to Twitter to give thanks to her fans who showed such generous support on the matter. "Regarding the IVF business, I have never gotten so many kind, encouraging words in my life," Teigen tweeted. "You guys are awesome and appreciated."

We can only anticipate that the happy news is especially exciting for the mom-to-be, who had expressed a desire to have kids last year.

"I swear to you, I thought I would've had one by now," the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl said in May 2014. "So, hopefully we'll just have this Angelina-Brad-type brood. I would love that ... I definitely want a lot of kids, though, and he does as well."

Teigen, who first tied the knot to her singing hubby at a New York City courthouse before jetting off to their lavish wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, in September 2013, echoed similar sentiments just months prior.

"We definitely have plans for kids," Teigen told ABC News at the Shape Magazine Super Bowl party last February. "I want a ton, he wants a ton, so I guess it's time to start."

However, she was also candid about not being too thrilled over the actual pregnancy part. "I just wish they appeared. I just wished they just showed up out of nowhere."

Aw, here's to hoping pregnancy is better than what Chrissy anticipated! Congratulations, you two!
