The 30-year-old singer and her 26-year-old actor hubby, who are expecting their first child together, celebrated surrounded by family and friends on Sunday.
A source tells E! News that Ashlee enjoyed a day of rest and relaxation with sister Jessica Simpson and some other gal-pals while Evan and his buddies partied by the pool at The Beverly Hills Hotel. "The guys got a cabana and hung out for a few hours during the afternoon. They ordered food and got some sun," the source says.
Evan shared a few photos of his pals, including brother-in-law Eric Johnson, having fun in the sun on Sunday. "loving life. I have baby on the way. We close. God is good," he captioned one shot. "Nice day at the bev hills hotel. Got my homies out," he added.
Later that night, Jessica hosted a get-together at her house. "Ashlee got lots of presents and that she had fun opening them with everyone," the insider added of the "beautiful" and "relaxed" evening.
As for the party details, Jessica shared an gorgeous photo of the stunning and colorful table decorations on Instagram with the caption, "Another gorgeous tablescape by @casadeperrin to shower @ashleesimpsonross and @realevanross #BabyLove."
Meanwhile, back in April Ashlee gushed to E! News of her second pregnancy, "I feel good! Definitely I feel it's a girl." She added that her son Bronx is "so excited" to be a big brother.
