Ellen DeGeneres just scared the s--t out of Kristen Wiig (sorry for our language, but there's really no other accurate way to describe the video you're about to watch)!

In a clip of Wiig's appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, the 41-year-old former Saturday Night Live star is on the receiving end of a shocking prank.

Things start out innocently enough with DeGeneres asking Wiig about her upcoming all-female Ghostbusters movie. "I'm so excited!" Wiig gushes. "Kate [McKinnon], Leslie [Jones], Melissa [McCarthy]. We're shooting this summer. We haven't started yet. I'm so excited."

"Do you believe in ghosts?" the 57-year-old host asks. "Yeah, sure. I do," Wiig says hesitantly.

"It doesn't sound like you do," DeGeneres continues before Wiig adds, "I mean, there's different kinds I guess."

That's when a crewmember dressed as a ghost pops out of a side table and scares the living daylights out of Wiig, who jumps out of her chair and rolls on the floor while screaming, "Oh my God! Oh my God!"

Wiig then got back at DeGeneres by stealing some of her set pieces. "Because you did that. I get those! That was terrifying," Wiig said. "That was really scary. Look at my hands."

"I knew you would be scared," DeGeneres laughed. Watch the hilarious video for yourself!
