If you're looking to find out what is going to happen on Girls in the future, don't ask Lena Dunham's mom about it!

The show creator's mom, Laurie Simmons, dished to Page Six that she knows some future plot points but wasn't willing to spill the information when asked!

"I've got some spoiler alerts up my sleeve and unless I have lots of drinks, which is very atypical for me, I'm not sharing," she joked to the publication.

The artist also weighed in on the criticism that her daughter often receives for being so outspoken about important issues, defending her against all the haters who lash out at her.

"I would rather have raised a daughter that speaks up than one who doesn't," she said.

But if you think the Girls writer and creator needs her mom to stick up for her, you'd be wrong! Simmons added, "She takes care of that so well herself, she doesn't need her mom at this point. She just needs her mom to love her."

Cue the tears because that is too cute!

Although she didn't reveal any spoilers from the hit HBO series, we have to wonder if she knows anything about her daughter's guest-starring role on Scandal! E! News confirmed that Dunham would make a one-time appearance during one of the ABC show's March episodes. Unfortunately, details of her role are being kept under wraps. If only we had OPA to uncover the truth!

While the casting might come as a surprise to some, Dunham has made her love of Shonda Rhimes' show very clear. She told Grantland's B.S. Report, "Basically, my life's great passion is the idea of being a guest star on Scandal."

She added, "I want to be like, a senator who did something wrong." And while she did say she might be too young to play a senator, she said, "playing a really evil character, it would be really fun."
