Ian Gavan/Getty ImagesTaylor Swift turned heads with a sexy red and black look on the red carpet at the 2014 Brit Awards in London, marking another contrast to her usual bright and sparkly styles, while fellow pop star Charli XCX did so as well due to her own outfit, which was, well, airy.
The country-turned-pop star donned a black gown with red detailing sloping along the sides and behind, as well as an image of a dragon on the back. Charli XCX wore a black and white printed halter maxi dress that showed plenty of side boob. In fact, it barely covered her chest.
Swift won her first Brit Award, Best International Female Solo Artist, and also performed at Wednesday's event, also called the BRITs, which honors the best in British music. The "Blank Space" singer, who arrived with her hair pinned up, let it down during her performance.
She had a day earlier also sported a dark and mysterious look—an emerald leather, lace and mesh gown at the 2015 Elle Style Awards, where she was honored as woman of the year.
Ellie Goulding looked rather bridal (she even said at the ceremony, "I do feel like I'm wearing a wedding dress")...and about two inches away from a wardrobe malfunction. Rita Ora, another nominee and fresh off her 2015 Oscars performance, showcased her curves...and cleavage...in yet another sparkling gown. She and Orlando Bloom presented the award for British male solo artist to Sheeran.
Singer FKA Twigs also sported a daring look and appeared at the event with boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
Also spotted on the red carpet were Spice Girls singers Mel C, who wore a chic black dress with an over-the-knee pencil skirt, and Emma Bunton, who sported a black and white pant suit.
Fellow pop stars Nick Jonas and Adam Lambert both looked dashing, as did Swift BFFs and fellow nominees and performers Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. Her other BFF, supermodel Karlie Kloss, walked the red carpet in a white cut-out gown with black trimming.
Swift was also spotted donning a rather familiar look at the Brit Awards—here she is caught on camera making her typical "Taylor Swift" face that fans have come to know and love.
