Ciara has Bobbi Kristina Brown in her prayers.

At last night's Essence Black Women in Music event in Hollywood, the 29-year-old singer opened up about Whitney Houston's daughter, who remains on life support at an Atlanta hospital after being found unresponsive in her home last weekend.

"So sad. My prayers go out to her family. I'm truly wishing her well," Ciara told E! News Thursday. "I'm wishing for a miracle for her. I'm praying for a miracle for her. It's so sad."

She added, "I don't even have the words for it, especially being a mom now, I can see it so much differently. She obviously was really missing her mom and it's just so sad this has happened."

Earlier this week, a rep for Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Brown's family released a statement on her condition, saying, "Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support."

Leona Lewis, who famously covered Houston's "I Will Always Love You" on The X Factor, also shared her thoughts at last night's Essence event.

"It's so sad. My prayers and thoughts go out them," Lewis told E! News. "It's just so, so, so sad. She's so young. Just positive thoughts."
