Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalized with family by her side, and even those who can't be there with her are wishing her the very best, including Super Bowl performer Missy Elliott.

The rapper opened up to The Insider and explained how her close relationship with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina's mother, made her become very close with the 21-year-old.

"Bobbi is like a little sister to me," Elliott said. "I have been very close to her mother. One thing that her mother said to me before she passed away was that she wanted to make sure Bobbi Kristina was straight, so my prayers for healing [are] that she comes out and be around people that love her."

Meanwhile, Jerod Brown, a.k.a. YF Kennedy, is with family in Atlanta where Bobbi Kristina remains, and tells E! News, "The family appreciates your support. Please you all, continue to #PrayForBK."

It has been reported that husband Nick Gordon and father Bobby Brown rushed to the hospital to take care of her, but E! News has learned that Bobbi Kristina is breathing with the help of a ventilator after nearly drowning in her bathtub.

Elliott continued to open up about her dear friend's daughter, saying that getting over losing a loved one is harder than people let on.

"People think it's easy to just go on when you lose a loved one like that, but that's somebody's mother and backbone, so it's got to be very difficult," she added.

A source told E! News that Whitney's daughter is in good hands, despite remaining unresponsive in the hospital.

"Bobbi is being taken good care of by a top team of doctors," another source said. "Right now, she is still unresponsive. Of course their main concern is getting her better with the hopes that time will help her heal."

Bobby Brown released a short statement to E! News after news broke of his daughter's incident, saying, "Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Bobbi Kristina and her family.
