It's official: Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have the most bromantic rivalry in TV history.

Over the course of seven seasons, the handsome duo's chemistry has become one of the very best things about The Voice. They tease each other. They prank each other. They love each other. But still, they have been known to be fiercely competitive, having both won the NBC reality several times.

So that's why we were stunned when Blake Shelton, who has just one contestant left in the competition (Craig Wayne Boyd), told us after Monday's show that Adam Levine "should win!"

Say whaaa?!

But wait, before you think Blake has gone all soft on us, he clarified that it's strictly because of the numbers, as Adam has three contestants (Matt McAndrew, Chris Jamison and Damien Lawson) vying for the title in tonight's finale.

"Mathematically, he should win this thing. It should be cakewalk for him," he explained.

And if Adam does lose, Blake is totally OK with shaming him real good. "If he manages to screw this up...I hope it's on the cover of, like, USA Today and Time and Rolling Stone, with a picture of him looking confused and with a tear...with an egg smeared across his face. To kick him while he was down, sometimes I feel like that's why I was born."

However, Adam didn't seem too concerned by Blake's threats when E! News chatted with him

"I'm like a ninja and he's like a sasquatch," he told us. "So he can't really hide. I can just bounce off of a couple of walls and I'm gone. Cloud of smoke kind of thing. He takes up a large amount of space, so I feel bad for him in a fight."

Oh snap! To hear more from Blake and Adam about tonight's finale, watch our interviews with them, and host Carson Daly, above!

The Voice finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
