Jesus Christ! This is NBC's new Jesus Christ. Juan Pablo di Pace will play the religious figure in NBC's new miniseries event A.D., E! News has confirmed
Di Pace's other credits include Dallas and NBC's short-lived Camp opposite Rachel Griffiths. "Hello all. Tomorrow there's an exciting announcement from NBC... (It's not Dallas, sorry folks)," di Pace tweeted on November 4. Exciting announcement indeed! "Humbled and happy to be playing HIM," he said.
NBC's sequel to The Bible will take place after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. A.D. follows the disciples who moved forward and disseminated Christ's teachings in a world of unrest. The 12-episode miniseries, which is in production now, is slated for Easter 2015. Gaze in wonder at NBC's new Jesus Christ below.
