There's no denying it: Jennifer Hudson is madly in love with her fiancé, David Otunga.

After a six-year engagement and the birth of a beautiful baby boy, the twosome's bond is stronger than ever.

But as fans eagerly wait for a beautiful wedding day, Hudson is perfectly content with her professional and personal life.

"We have plans. I guess it's just not moving fast enough for other folks," she told E! News while promoting her new album, JHUD, available now. "But we got plans and we're okay with them."

Instead, the Oscar-winning actress is concerned about her new music and adorable son that can't stop growing.

"He's so amazing. I really can't describe him," she gushed with a giant smile on her face. "He's somebody you have to meet and experience on your own. He's an interesting one."

What's also amazing is Hudson's new album that she describes as very personal. While many may know the Hollywood star from American Idol or Dreamgirls, Hudson hopes the music will showcase a new side.

"I got to express myself and to show my person," she explained. "Get to know the girl, get to know the person and this album represents my everyday self."

Featuring collaborations with Timbaland, Iggy Azalea and R. Kelly, the album has plenty of star power. But what some listeners may not know is that Pharrell Williams helped produce many of the hot tracks.

"Being in the studio with Pharrell felt like a party," she explained. "[He] allowed me to do me."

And when asked if she'd love to join the hitmaker on his popular series, The Voice, Hudson immediately showed her interest.

"I'm so there. I would love to do that," Hudson said when asked if she'd like to mentor his team. "That would be fun."

What perfect timing! NBC announced Williams will return for season eight with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera. You know we'd totally watch!
