Watch: What To Expect on "The Flash"

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) just sped his way into our hearts.

Arrow's spinoff series The Flash premiered tonight on the CW, and we geeked out so hard at seeing Gustin's cheerful, sweet and gifted new superhero shoulder his powers with an enthusiasm we haven't seen from many superheroes in the past.

Hey, we love seeing a brooding Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) as much as the next person, but there was just something about how Barry accepted his new life with such a positive outlook that felt so fresh and new and exciting that got us all pumped up for the first season of the sure-to-be-a-hit comic book series.

And we're not the only ones! Gustin himself revealed to E! News that he still geeks out every time he puts on Barry's iconic red and yellow supersuit.

"I really, really do," Gustin told us. "I was doing fight scenes in it all day yesterday and it was the first time I was doing a fight scene in it. In the pilot, there's not too much fighting yet. There's a lot of running and standing. So it was really surreal fighting in it and being a superhero in it."

Check out our full interview with Gustin above along with his co-stars Tom Cavanaugh and Candice Patton to get more scoop on what's coming up this season on The Flash, including a possible Arrow/The Flash crossover love triangle! Hmmm, is that why Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is showing up in Central City in episode 4?!

Plus, now that you've seen the first episode of The Flash, let us know what you thought of it by voting in our poll below!

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW.
