When a fan tweeted a flashback photo of Kate from decades ago sporting a very dated 'do, the Grey's Anatomy actress wasn't afraid to have a little fun at her own expense.
Kate retweeted the photo with the caption, "An unfortunate hair choice in the late 90s." We love that Kate can fully embrace her cringe-worthy beauty moments from the past, because we've all got 'em.
In the '90s pic, Kate has a haircut that we would dub a "mushroom-style bob." The dyed blond bob is voluminous up top and then curves down toward her chin, creating a heart-shaped effect. And to make the pic even more retro, Kate is wearing lilac eye shadow and frosty pink lipstick—So '90s.
And while this pic might seem embarrassing, it's actually pretty impressive—because now at 46-years-old, Kate looks like she hasn't aged a day. Although, we've got to admit we much prefer Kate's look now to her retro '90s style. Pretty, long red tresses suit her so much more. Kate stars in the new show Bad Judge, and fortunately she's not sporting anymore bad haircuts, even for her role.
