The hits keep coming!

As promised, Carrie Underwood released her faith-based new single, "Something in the Water," early Monday morning. Underwood co-wrote the track with Chris DeStefano and Brett James. The song will be among those featured on her Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album. "It's really kind of a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and kind of having that 'a-ha' moment, to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward," the singer, 31, explained on NBC's Today Friday.

The country singer tweeted Monday, "Just heard #SomethingInTheWater for the first time on the radio! Yay! So happy happy happy!!!" Underwood's song skyrocketed to No. 1 on iTunes' country music charts.

"Something in the Water" highlights Underwood's Southern Baptist beliefs. In the second verse, the crooner sings, "Couldn't fight back the tears, so I fell on my knees / Saying, 'God, if you're there come and rescue me' / Felt love pouring down from above / Got washed in the water, washed in the blood."

The final verse in "Something in the Water" is just as powerful.

"And now I'm singing along to 'Amazing Grace' / Can't nobody wipe this smile off my face / Got joy in my heart, angels on my side / Thank God almighty, I saw the light / Gonna look ahead no turning back / Live everyday giving all that I have / Trust in someone bigger than me / Ever since the day that I believed."
