Friends premiered 20 years ago today. Let that sink in for a minute.

Yes, on Sept. 22, 1994, we met Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, Joey and Rachel for the first time, and ever since then, they've been there for you, too. Sorry, if we have "I'll Be There for You" stuck in our heads all day. It's only appropriate that you do, too.

It's hard to imagine there was a time before tabloids weren't charting Jennifer Aniston's every whim, but flashback 20 years ago and she was one of the least well-known faces amongst the relatively unknown cast. To celebrate the big anniversary, we dove deep into the E! archives to bring you some vintage goodies, including everybody playing poker in all their 1990s glory. Yes, we were there for the first-ever set visits and interviews.

So. Much. Beige.

"We played poker, we got along...We all get along great. Who knows? In two years maybe we'll all end up hating each other," Matthew Perry said. "So far, so good."

Twenty years later, so far so good!

See what Perry, Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox had to say about the show when it first started in the video above. Special bonus: vintage b-roll!
