The 58-year-old show judge and comedian was photographed posing with, and staring down at, co-star Heidi Klum, who wore a cleavage-baring black printed spaghetti strap dress at the red carpet event, which took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Wednesday.
The two have not commented and to give him the benefit of the doubt, there may be another explanation for the eyebrow-raising moment (and one that would surely please fans of co-judge and X-rated SiriusXM radio show host Howard Stern): He may have also been staring at Klum's green pendant or the mesmerizing pattern of her outfit.
Or, Mandel, who has been open about his struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder and also talks about it in his 2009 book Here's the Deal: Don't Touch Me, may have been looking at his own hand, wrapped around the 41-year-old supermodel's slim waist.
Klum appeared unbothered by his glance, staring at the cameras with a wide smile.
"Love you guys," she tweeted alongside a photo of herself with Stern, Mandel, co-judge Mel B. and host Nick Cannon.
