Today was one of those days that I dreamt about the entire 10 years I lived in New York City.
I not only attended New York Fashion Week, but I was a part of it! The day started off the same way the last five days have: Coffee, shower and then welcome my awesome hair and makeup crew.
We had three shows and a party to plan for, so picking makeup and hair that could easily transform throughout the day was important.
It started with an interview with Mara Hoffman backstage, then I changed and ran off to Hervé Léger to interview Max Azria and Lubov Azria.
Then I changed back into my first look to sit front row at Mara's show.
Next was a quick hair, makeup and wardrobe change and then I hopped in a car to go to the Christian Siriano show.
I had the opportunity to go backstage and interview Christian Siriano himself, DJ Leigh Lezark, supermodel Coco Rocha and powerhouse actress Uzo Aduba, all who sat front row.
I got to sit front row, too, which was major because Christian's collection was incredible! You know you're close when you can hear the beaded dresses hit the floor with each step!
And once the shows wrapped, I headed back to my hotel and changed into a Maison romper. Then I went to the Lincoln Center tents for a few drinks at E!'s upstairs lounge, which over looks the entire "pit." It was such an incredible day and I'm exhausted! And we're gonna do it all over again mañana.
