Just one week after newlyweds Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson tied the knot in Greenwich, Conn., at the home of the groom's mother, Diana Ross, the two jetted off to Indonesia for their honeymoon where the loved-up couple has been spotted soaking up the sun by the beach.
According to an eyewitness, the pair had a decorated car waiting at the airport before they were driven to the St. Regis hotel. The source said that the couple was seen relaxing by the pool and Ashlee looked great and was in good shape.
"Evan was smitten over Ashlee, constantly taking pics of his new bride on his phone," the insider dished adding that they were alone and spent a little over a week in Bali.
Simpson, 29, was photographed rocking a sexy red one piece swimsuit which she paired with a leopard-print cover-up and floppy white wide-brimmed hat to shield her face from the sun while her fashionable hubby sported colorful swimsuit trunks teamed with a hat to match his missus.
The adorable twosome appeared relaxed and comfortable in each other's company as Simpson sunbathed with the beautiful ocean in the background. At one point, Ross, 26, was snapped taking shots of his ladylove as the pair enjoyed a peaceful afternoon together.
E! News exclusively confirmed that the blond beauty and the Hunger Games actor said "I do" on Aug. 31. in a private wedding ceremony. Diana Ross officiated the wedding while Ashlee's sister, Jessica Simpson, served as the maid of honor.
The beautiful bride, who wore a stunning Houghton gown, was accompanied by the No. 1 man in her life, son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, when she walked down the aisle, which was lit with white lanterns hanging from the tree branches.
Following the lavish, Bohemian-themed wedding ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed a star-studded reception with their nearest and dearest where they danced to Stevie Wonder's 1985 song "Overjoyed" for their first dance.
This is the second marriage for Ashlee, who was married to Bronx's father, Pete Wentz, from 2008 until 2011.
Looks like the newlyweds are enjoying every minute of married life. Congrats, you two!
