And while her perfectly waved blond tresses, elegant makeup and, of course, natural beauty, have something to do with executing her gorgeous look, it's also very obvious that there's one thing in particular that is either a hit or miss for a bride—the dress.
Luckily for Ashlee, her stunning Houghton gown was absolutely perfect for her nuptials to Evan Ross. So let's get the deets, shall we?!
"Her two-piece ceremony look featured the ivory corded lace Aligote crop top with three-fourths-sleeve worn over the ivory Chantilly lace Madonna bralet and paired with the ivory corded lace Macabeau skirt with high/low hemline and train," a statement from the designer explains. "The Aligote featured a custom hand-beaded pearl detail throughout the lace. Ashlee also wore a custom silk tulle veil with a long train, trimmed with a hand-sewn scalloped lace edge."
"This has been such a fun experience; Ashlee and Evan are the epitome of a Houghton Couple. I love that they are involved with each-others looks and I've been able to work so closely with them to make sure every look exudes their personal style," designer Katharine Polk tells E! News.
"I've been able to work closely with Ashlee and really make her something that is special and fun. I'm thrilled with her final look and I love that Evan was involved. It was a true modern bride experience which is so Houghton!"
The Houghton Bridal dress was a perfect fit with the theme for the lovebirds' special day, which included a lavish, Bohemian-inspired wedding ceremony held at mother-of the groom Diana Ross' estate in Greenwich, Conn. The ceremony featured eclectic decor including huge dream catchers and tents, similar to their engagement party.
Wearing the gorge lace dress and a headband tucked into her long tresses, the blushing bride walked down the aisle that was lit with white lanterns hanging from the tree branches. She was accompanied by the No. 1 man in her life, son Bronx Mowgli Wentz. Ross awaited his ladylove while looking dapper in Dolce & Gabanna. The intimate and short ceremony was officiated by Diana Ross, who wore a black gown.
Meanwhile, Simpson's maid of honor, sister Jessica Simpson, wore a sleeveless fitted white gown (yep, she wore white, too!) that accentuated her slimming figure and even showed off some cleavage.
