Check out the newlyweds on the block!
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy got married on Sunday at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, near Chicago, McCarthy's rep confirms to E! News. The date marks almost a year after they first hit the red carpet as a couple.
The proudly amorous duo said their I-dos in front of a tight-knit group that included several members of their family.
Donnie's little brother and actor Mark Wahlberg, however, was unable to make it due to a previous engagement, but did offer his congratulations to the happy couple (and even shared a video featuring his wife and kids).
McCarthy, who is from Chicago, announced on The View back in April that Wahlberg had popped the question with a yellow sapphire engagement ring. She said at the time that she and the Blue Bloods star had their eye on an August wedding.
Wahlberg enlisted McCarthy's son Evan for proposal duty, having the youngster present his mom with a series of cards and a T-shirt that ultimately spelled out "Will you mary [sic] me?"
"I knew what was happening and I just started crying," McCarthy recounted the story. "And then he came out with a card that said 'Marry,' but it was spelled 'Mary,' and the last time Donnie came out with Evan and Evan's shirt said 'Me?' and he was holding the ring. He asked, 'Will you marry me?' I of course said yes. And in that moment, Evan yelled, 'I have another dad! I have another dad.' And it was just—it made all of us cry.
"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. He's so wonderful."

This is the second marriage for both. McCarthy was married to Evan's dad, John Asher, from 1999 until 2006, while Wahlberg has two sons—21-year-old Xavier and 13-year-old Elijah—from his marriage to Kimberly Fey. They divorced in 2008.
"I think a lot of times we get caught up in the fantasy of who we think somebody is, and instead we trusted getting to know who each other are for real," McCarthy told E! News in May, talking about her whirlwind courtship.
The wedding party pre-celebrated at a rehearsal dinner on Saturday and McCarthy threw a soiree on Friday night as well.
McCarthy had five bridesmaids, who wore black satin gowns, according to Jennifer Sands jewelry designer Jennifer Heim, who provided the sparkly accessories for the weekend.
They wore black onyx earrings with white sapphires, and Bali bangles—a set of three onyx, labradorite and crystal quartz, all by Jennifer Sands (see photo, below). The pieces matched their glamorous gowns.
"Everything is set in 14 karat gold and very sleek and clean and a little bit of bling," Heim exclusively told E! News.
