Now that was fast!
Jessie James Decker and her husband, NFL player Eric Decker, welcomed their daughter into the world less than five months ago, and now Jessie is already back into her size-25 jeans.
Yesterday the E! star posted a pic on Instagram showing off her flat stomach, and while Jessie got back to her pre-baby weight in record time, she emphasized that it's not a race.
"My advice [to other moms] is to please not stress about it and please take your sweet time," she told E! News exclusively.
So how exactly did she do it? Jessie revealed to us her exact diet and fitness plan after daughter Vivianne Rose Decker was born.
Every day she does at least 20 minutes of cardio. "I'll do the StairMaster or switch it up to doing a three-mile walk around my neighborhood, which has a lot of hills," she said.
She also does strength training: "I do 100 crunches, 50 push-ups, some 5-pound arm workouts—and squats," she explained.
And Jessie has been just as loyal to her diet as she has her workout routine. She eats a filling breakfast including eggs and bacon, and one of her favorite light meals to have throughout the day is grilled shrimp salad with a lemon juice dressing.
And while she's definitely cut back on sweets, she does let herself indulge. "I treat myself to a handful of dark chocolate-covered almonds after dinner," she said.
As for the hardest part about her new diet, it's been portion control, she revealed. "I eat like a man, so not getting thirds and not getting 10 cookies has been tough!" she said.
But the most impressive thing about Jessie's post-baby routine? She did it all without the help of a trainer or nutritionist. She even did it without the help of her NFL star husband!
"I could have gotten on the bandwagon of these juice and diet cleanses," she said. "But the truth is all you need to do is eat right and exercise a little every day."
