You can take the girl out of Kentucky, but there's no way you're taking Kentucky out of this girl.

Jennifer Lawrence has loaned her voice to the University of Louisville, the Oscar winner serving as narrator of a minute-long video posted to MeettheCards.com that sings the college's praises in honor of its move to the Atlantic Coast Conference from its longtime NCAA home in the American Athletic Conference.

"I grew up in the Derby City, home to a proud and storied university, filled with rich athletic tradition and packed with fans who are as loyal and passionate as any in college sports," the video begins, Lawrence's voice instantly recognizable.

Louisville's move to the ACC became official today, more than seven months after officials from both organizations agreed to the deal.

The men's basketball team reached the Sweet 16 of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, where they were upset by eventual champion Kentucky. Lawrence showed her March Madness support in a Cardinals T-shirt, forming the school's signature "L."

And perhaps a silver linings playbook is just what the Cards need to take 'em all the way to the top next year!

"This region and these people live and breathe the Cardinals," Lawrence continues in the video. "The ‘L' is the sign that connects all of us to one strong and united Card Nation. Now the next chapter of Louisville athletics is upon us as we join the prestigious ACC and prepare to face some of history's most accomplished and elite collegiate programs."

The ultimate message, the one that will be echoing around campus as the Cards gear up for another year of competition?

"Let's do this," J.Law concludes.
