Selena Gomez is going through some changes.
Last week the star went on a massive Instagram purge—unfollowing everyone on her account. According to a source this was because she had decided to remove negative influence in her life and start focusing on the positive. She also wants to get back to her music career and attended church more regularly.
But back to her purge, apparently it also included a few inches of her hair. In a video posted this week the star showed off a much shorter ‘do. Now, it could be a haircut but it is more likely just the removal of her hair extensions. It was about two months ago that the star first shared a photo of the new length being added in thanks to hairstylist Nikki Lee at Nine Zero One Salon.
New ‘do aside, the five second GIF shows the 21-year-old, wearing a wide brim hat and hipster glasses, laughing with her friends while enjoying a cup of tea. A simple guitar rift plays in the background.
This style of, well, we guess you could call them mini music videos, seems to be the star's favorite new way of posting. She's uploaded six in the last week, including a cute selfie short to the soundtrack of Corinne Bailey Rae's "Put Your Records On."
