Brooke Burke-Charvet is leaving Dancing With the Stars with her humor intact.

After E! News exclusively confirmed that the co-host will not return for Season 18 of the reality competition show, Burke-Charvet joked about her exit via Twitter. "Here's the skinny—The show found out Harold Wheeler, the band, Rob & me were putting together our own road show, so they fired us all!" she wrote. "Off to bed with my sense of humor. I was totally kidding Tweeties. Night nite! Sweet dreams."

Erin Andrews, who finished in third place during Season 10, will replace Burke-Charvet. The FOX Sports personality will join longtime co-host Tom Bergeron when the series returns to ABC on March 17. Additionally, Ray Chew will succeed Harold Wheeler as the show's music director. Before then, however, twelve new contestants will be revealed live on Good Morning America March 4.

On Friday, 42-year-old Burke-Charvet exclusively confirmed to E! News her DWTS days are over.

"I have enjoyed seven seasons co-hosting DWTS but understand the need for change considering the position of the show at this juncture," said the former Wild On! and Rock Star host, who replaced Samantha Harris on DWTS in 2010. "I've always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn't able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I've seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake."

Executive producer Conrad Green confirmed Burke-Charvet's exit, saying she "will unquestionably be missed by our entire team. We'd like to thank Brooke for her years of great service."
