15 entered, 10 performed, five were ousted.
In the second night of American Idol's brutal "Rush Week," it was the guys' turn to take the stage and perform for America's votes. Well, not all the guys as the Fox reality hit's three judges, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr., eliminated five of the hopefuls before they even got a chance to sign. Way harsh, no?! Tuesday's show saw the exit of five ladies, including Brandy Neely, Austin Wolfe, Andrina Brogden, Kenzie Hall and Jillian Jensen.
So which five guys were sent home on Wednesday night? And what did the 10 lucky contestants who made it to the stage sing?
First, let's do a quick run down of the Top 10 guys and what they performed:
Dexter Roberts: "This Old Boy"
George Lovett Hamilton: "Grenade"
Sam Woolf: "Babylon"
Emmanuel Zidor: "The Best of My Love"
C.J. Harris: "Shelter"
Caleb Johnson: "Stay With Me"
Alex Preston: "Volcano"
Malcolm Allen: "Comin' From Where I'm From"
Ben Briley: "Soul Shine"
Spencer Lloyd: "Love Don't Die"
The five unlucky contestants already leaving the competition?
Ethan Harris, Jordan Brisbane, Casey Trasher, Briston Maroney and Maurice Townsend all failed to impress the judges enough to make it into the guys' Top 10.
But the cuts don't end there! Tomorrow night, seven more hopefuls will be eliminated from the competition, bringing up down to just 13 finalists.
American Idol airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
