Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are scrubbing in for more Grey's Anatomy. The two stars have signed new two-year deals to remain on the Shonda Rhimes drama, E! News has confirmed.

This new deal puts Pompeo, who plays title character Meredith Grey, and Dempsey, her husband Derek Shepherd, on the long-running medical drama for season 11 and 12. "This doesn't mean Grey's has been renewed, but it is likely to go at least one more season," a source told E! News.

All signs point to more Grey's, especially after ABC's Paul Lee recently stated the drama still had many years left in it.

"[Executive producer] Shonda Rhimes is one of the greatest writers that our generation has seen. She's continuing to write an immensely powerful show. It makes you laugh and cry every week, and what season are we now? And by the way, to her enormous credit, it is completely different than Scandal. And I love it. I think it's going to stay on the network for many years to come," Lee told reporters about Grey's Anatomy at the network's 2014 TCA event.

Grey's will undergo a major cast shakeup this season as original cast member Sandra Oh departs.

"I see the show going as long as I continue to be interested in the show," Rhimes told E! News when Oh's departure was announced. "And then I don't know about the network, because they might see it going after me. But as I see it, as long as I'm interested and have stories to tell, I'm excited about being there."

Deadline reports Justin Chambers, James Pickens Jr. and Chandra Wilson have yet to sign new deals.
