New details are emerging regarding Justin Bieber's DUI arrest.

During a Thursday, Jan. 23, press conference, a representative for the Miami Beach Police Department confirmed that an officer witnessed two vehicles drag racing around 4:11 a.m. Bieber's entourage apparently used their cars to block traffic on Pine Street Drive at 26th street, a residential area.

Khalil Sharief was pulled over first, followed by Bieber. The "Baby" singer, who was driving a rented yellow Lamborghini, willingly rolled down his window to speak with the officer. The officer smelled alcohol and asked Bieber to exit the vehicle. As he did, he "kept going into his pants pocket."

The officer ordered the 19-year-old singer to put his hands on the car, and Bieber initially complied. He soon took his hands off the vehicle, turned around and berated the cop. The officer then grabbed Bieber by his right arm, prompting the singer to pull away, and shout, "What the f--k are you doing?"

The "Boyfriend" singer was placed under arrest for resisting without violence. Bieber, who did not have a valid license, then acknowledged that he was using prescription antidepressants and had also smoked marijuana. He also admitted that he'd had a beer earlier that night.

Bieber and Sharief were driving almost double the 30 mph speed limit starting from a set position; Sharief was also charged with DUI. The friends were taken to Miami-Dade Jail, where they will be fingerprinted have their mugshots taken.
