Many celebrities take time out of their busy schedules throughout the year to do charitable acts. DoSomething.org, the largest not-for-profit in the U.S. for young people and social change, compiles a list every year of the top "20 Celebs Gone Good."

So, who was the most charitable celebrity of 2013?

For the second year in a row, the title of top celebrity do-gooder goes to Taylor Swift!

"The country pop star turned her 24th birthday into a gift for others, quietly donating $100,000 of her own money to The Nashville Symphony," the website said of the 24-year-old singer. "Swift also made global headlines when she joined Prince William and Bon Jovi on stage for an impromptu performance of "Livin' On a Prayer" at the Winter White Gala in London to help homeless youth."

One Direction made their debut taking the No.2 spot on the list thanks to their volunteer trip to Ghana as part of their efforts with the U.K. charity Comic Relief. Harry Styles and Liam Payne's also worked with a London-based nonprofit called Prizeo for Trekstock.

Beyoncé took the No.3 spot, followed by Paul Walker and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Sandra Bullock, Kerry Washington, Ian Somerhalder, Ryan Seacrest and Carrie Underwood rounded out the top 10.
