Evangeline Lilly Mimics Chelsea Handler, Denies Partying Too Hard With Orlando Bloom and Dwarves

When Orlando Bloom appeared on the Dec. 4 episode of Chelsea Lately, the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug actor regaled host Chelsea Lately with a story about how Evangeline Lilly once got so "wasted" at a cast party that she ended up vomiting. As it turns out, that particular tale was a work of fiction.

The actress appeared on the Tuesday, Dec. 17, episode of Handler's E! talk show and cleared up the rumors her friend started.

"He's the nicest guy but I heard he was here telling stories about me that weren't true," Lilly said of drinking with dwarves. "He changed the story to a ridiculous degree. Because I don't remember him being at the party!"

Bloom also wrongly referred to Lilly's current love, Norman Kali, as her husband. "My partner was not at this party. Clearly Orlando was not at this party!" she laughed. "I also heard he said I was puking at the party. Total lie. I am a classy dame. I might have run into a wall, but I did not throw up."

Later in the show, Handler inquired about another rumor regarding Lilly. "I heard that you do impressions of me reading my own book," the comedienne said. "Is this true?"

"My partner doesn't read. He's not illiterate—he just chooses not to read—and I love reading. I'm obsessed with reading," the 34-year-old actress explained. "We really love your show and we really love you. We think you're hilarious. So we got your book…and I really wanted to read it with him, but he doesn't read. He cooks, though. He's a really good cook. So while he was cooking, I would sit in the kitchen with my laptop open and I would read your book out loud."

"The problem is, Chelsea's funny because of her delivery," Lilly told the audience. "So when I was reading it, I was like, 'This isn't going to be funny. This is going to be as flat and dry as possible.' And then I was like, 'Oh, yeah! Flat and dry! I'll sound exactly like Chelsea! This is perfect!'"
