Beyoncé Releases Surprise Album on iTunes: Best Celebrity Twitter Reactions to Her New Music!

Singer released self-titled visual disc after keeping the project secret for 18 months

Beyoncé surprised even her most famous fans when she dropped her self-titled visual album on iTunes on Friday, Dec. 13. Demi Lovato, Ryan Phillippe and Emma Roberts were just three of the many stars who lost their damn minds after Queen Bey unveiled 14 new songs and 17 new music videos.

Lovato was one of the first to tweet her excitement. "I'm literally FUH-REAKING OUT over this new #BEYONCE... The music vids?!!?! I CANT HANDLE THIS MUCH FIERENESS.... #NOJOKE #DYING," the X Factor judge raved. "Sexiest woman ON THE PLANET... and WHO DIRECTED THESE VIDEOS?!!? #OBSESSED #BEYONCE #imightbeobsessedwithher #IWANTTOBEHER," she continued.

The "Let It Go" singer then asked, "HOW IS ANYONE NOT TWEETING ABOUT #BEYONCE RIGHT NOW?!!?!?" Of course, it wasn't long before other stars took notice. "Queen B brought that dirt," Phillippe tweeted. "Into it."

Roberts subtly referenced her hit FX series, American Horror Story: Coven, in her critique. "Beyonce. Are you kidding me with this?! #Supreme #love #everything," the TV star raved.

Twitter's most popular user, Katy Perry, was equally effusive. Early Friday morning, she told her 48 million followers, "B done broke the internet. #stanning." She later added, "Don't talk to me today unless it's about @Beyonce THANX."

Abigail Breslin's assessment was short and sweet: "The new Beyonce album is so perfect wow." Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, tweeted that "my girl @beyonce just changed d game!!"

Actress Leslie Grossman couldn't contain her glee, telling her fans, "Just booked a double sesh with my shrink to talk about the surprise Beyoncé album." The TV star added, "I am serious that random fireworks just went off in my neighborhood and I genuinely believe it is Beyoncé related."

Grossman then asked her followers for some advice. "I need guidance: do I wake my kid up to tell her about Beyoncé? It seems super important and in the future she will appreciate it right?" (The resounding response was "yes," if you were wondering.)
