Orlando Bloom sure had a lot of fun filming The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

The 36-year-old actor stopped by Chelsea Lately on Wednesday, Dec. 4 and dished about the latest installment of the action-adventure series, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's famed novel. And it sounds like it certainly wasn't all work and no play.

"There are so many fun things to look at. You've got those dwarves," Chelsea Handler said about the flick, which hits theaters on Friday, Dec. 13. "I know that you, [costar] Evangeline Lilly, she says you guys got wasted with those dwarves."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah," the Hobbit star revealed with a chuckle.

"You know fun it is to get wasted with dwarves," the late night host asked, as the camera panned over to her assistant, Chuy Bravo.

E!

"I do actually! And I know you do!" Bloom added.

Bloom then told a story about a dwarf he knew who would "bite people's bottoms" at parties.

"But if you were a dwarf, would you do that too?" Handler asked.

Without missing a beat, Bloom responded, "I'm not a dwarf, and I do that."

All kidding aside, Bloom admitted that he is not the hobbit, but rather an elf, with "pointy ears, long blond hair. A little bit like yours."
