Friends, fans and family continue to mourn Paul Walker after his shocking and sudden death on Saturday.

Jordana Brewster, who played the star's love interest Mia Torreto in the Fast & Furious franchise, is the latest celeb to release a statement about the late actor's passing and echoed the sentiments of many others who knew Walker by speaking highly of her friend and costar.

"Paul was an enormous presence in my life for the past fourteen years. While many would be satisfied with material success it made Paul more convinced of the need to help others. He never spoke of his immense generosity or philanthropic endeavors unless I prodded, however. This is what made Paul, Paul," she said in a statement obtained by E! News.

"He lived with integrity, humanity and humility and seemed most happy when talking about his daughter, Meadow," she continued. "I don't know anyone who lived each moment more fully and loved life more than Paul; making his loss all the more heartbreaking."

Brewster first broke her silence on the tragic news on Sunday, tweeting, "Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone."

Walker also spoke about his relationship with Brewster and gushed about the brunette beauty during a recent E! News interview. "I love Jordana; I mean, I had a crush on her. I'll always have a crush on her," he told us. "She's just such a good girl. Going back, we were little kids, you know? So I've always been really protective of her."

The 40-year-old star died suddenly on Saturday, Nov. 30 in a car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif. while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

Brewster, Walker and the rest of their Fast & Furious family were in the middle of the franchise's seventh film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, production has since been "delayed" but the film "won't be scrapped." Director James Wan and executives from Universal pictures also reportedly spoke on Sunday morning to discuss the future of the project, how to re-work the script and "how to proceed in a manner that would be respectful to Walker's death."
