A little rain won't stop Katy Perry from sightseeing in Amsterdam!
The singer was seen spending some time off in the Dutch capital, where she was snapped strolling the streets and enjoying some shopping in the city's famous De Jordaan neighborhood on Friday, Nov. 15.
Fresh off her performance at the MTV European Music Awards last weekend and in the midst of promoting her hit album Prism, the "Roar" singer tried to stay out of the spotlight and attempted to go incognito with her low-key attire, dressing down in a charcoal jacket, jeans, converse sneakers and trendy black glasses. The 29-year-old beauty added a beige scarf and a green beanie hat to her super casual ensemble, carrying a large umbrella to stay dry in the rainy weather.
Yesterday, the performer released a preview clip for the upcoming music video for her single "Unconditionally," which is expected to drop on Nov. 19 on MTV.
And she also revealed to Entertainment Weekly that her new song was partially inspired by her romance with John Mayer, as well as her experience in Africa last year.
"I went to Madagascar and did a UNICEF trip that changed my life and gave me this song. It's just a simple message about loving someone and accepting them and kind of driving at you don't have to be so self-conscious, you don't have to fear, because essentially, everybody has their stuff. Nobody comes stuff-free."

While Mayer did not accompany Katy on her Amsterdam outing, the pair sparked engagement rumors (again) after Perry was seen wearing a ring on that finger while posing for pics at the EMA red carpet.
Although it's unlikely that the rocker popped the question, a source recently told E! News the musicians are heading in that direction, adding that a proposal is "inevitable."
"Everyone wants them to get engaged," the source said. "They are so perfect together."
Mayer, who released his album Paradise Valley on Aug. 20, is currently on tour and is scheduled to perform at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. on Nov. 22.
