Exclusive! E! News was on set when the CBS sitcom's cast received word that the show had been picked up for a full season

Break out your party hats, because we're about to have a celebration!

Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar are heading into the weekend with some awesome news: Their new hit comedy The Crazy Ones was picked up for a full season by CBS, meaning they get to exchange playful banter as father and daughter for the foreseeable future. Huzzah!

And talk about crazy timing: E! News happened to be on set when the sitcom's hilarious cast received the good news that they were picked up for a full season. Of course, a crazy celebration soon commenced and we caught it all on tape! Plus, Gellar and Williams took a moment to thank the series' fans for tuning in each week...

"We just wanted to say a quick thank you to all the fans who made this happen," Gellar says in our exclusive video from The Crazy Ones' set. "We are having the time of our lives and get ready for nine more episodes!"

Williams adds, "We got picked up, yeah! Thank you, thank you!"

And how adorable is that massive hug the duo shared when they learned the news?! We so want to be part of their fictional family!

"It's official we are picked up," Gellar tweeted of the good news. "Thank you everyone at #thecrazyones and all the fans." Williams added, "Thank you everyone for watching! We're picked up for the season."

The Crazy Ones has proven to be one of the most successful new launches of the fall: Its series premiere attracted 15.6 million viewers, the most-watched debut of the season, and has since averaged 13.7 million viewers and a 3.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. In addition to The Crazy Ones, CBS also ordered full seasons of new comedies Mom and The Millers. The network canceled its other new sitcom We Are Men.

The Crazy Ones airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CBS.
