Yes, Leather Pants for Babies Are a Real Thing!

North West isn't the only little one to own a pair

If you happen to catch last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, your first reaction upon seeing Jimmy Kimmel's peace offering to Kanye West—a wee pair of leather jogging pants—was either to giggle or to awww. Or perhaps a little of both.

And if you were a parent cooing over the high fashion bottoms, wondering how you might score some for your little one, there's good news: North West isn't the only newborn with a pair in her wardrobe.

Yes it seems, leather pants for tots are indeed a real thing. Well, sort of. Back in May, model Julia Roitfeld told the NY Post that Alexander Wang gifted her little girl a pair of "leather diaper pants."

Apparently Wang likes newborns in the sleek material because he also gifted North with a leather dress earlier this month.

But if you're not lucky enough to be pals with Wang you might have to wait a little bit longer to dress your youngin' in the sassy bottoms. There are tons of options such as versions from Joe's Jeans and DKNY but they don't run in infant sizes (kids only!).

Then again, who knows? With all the attention Jimmy and Kanye have given the idea, we wouldn't be surprised if pairs start popping up in newborn sizes very soon.
