Valerie Harper is obviously not letting terminal brain cancer get in the way of doing what she does best.
The actress, best known for playing Rhoda Morgenstern on the '70s television classics The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rhoda, has started working on a new TV movie, The Wrap reports.
Production began on Wednesday in Vancouver on The Town That Came A-Courtin,' a film adaptation of Ronda Rich's novel of the same name that will air on the UP cable network in January 2014.
Harper will play Charlotte, the owner of a bed & breakfast.
News of the project comes nearly five months after Harper, 73, revealed she had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. At the time, doctors had reportedly given her between three to six months to live.
But Harper has remained upbeat.
