Robin Roberts is on the mend!

On Monday, the Good Morning America cohost announced that she plans to return to work within weeks.

The 52-year-old anchor has been on medical leave since September after undergoing a bone-marrow transplant. She said her "blood counts continue to improve" and her "last bone-marrow test showed no abnormalities…Praise God!"

Roberts hopes to be back "sometime in February" and pointed out that it's a "matter of weeks, not months" before she'll be back on air.

"We're going to take it step by step," she said.

Roberts also thanked her family, friends, coworkers and fans for their support. "GMA viewers, your messages, your prayers, your well-wishes have given me an enormous amount of strength and hope," she said.

We're continuing to keep Roberts in our thoughts and prayers and can't wait for her GMA return!
