Demi Lovato, Anne Hathaway and More Celeb Hair Color Changes—See the Pics!

This year has seen no shortage of coif color changes among some of Hollywood's hottest ladies. Blond, particularly, has been a hot summer hue, with a slew of brunette actresses trying the goldie locks look on for size. 

Our favorite recent transformations include Demi Lovato, who took her brunette locks to a bright shade of blond in early May—only to make the color a few shades lighter in three weeks. Lovato's colorist, Amber Maynard of Nine Zero One salon, used Keratin Complex's Smoothing Treatment & Demi Glaze to lock in her color and deep condition her hair. 

Rihanna—who constantly experiments with her hot rocker look—went gray this month with subtle silver highlights. Anne Hathaway went a punk-pretty platinum for the Met Gala in May, but has since brought her pixie cut back to a rich shade of brown. 

We can't forget the brunettes! In the sea of Instagram selfies showcasing newly blond locks, some starlets have gone against the grain and gotten darker locks, including Britney Spears and Elizabeth Banks, who both sported honey-brown locks earlier this year. Spears didn't keep her hair brunette for too long, returning to her signature flaxen ‘do earlier this summer.

Some celebs switch hair colors so fast we can hardly keep up: take Shailene Woodley, who's gone from brunette to auburn to dirty blond in the span of a few months (and a few movies, which is the reason for the swift color shifts). Emma Stone went from red to blonde and back again, along with Dianna Agron, who reverted her copper locks to their natural golden hue.

Other stars like to show off their new hair color via social media, like Gabrielle Union, who posted a photo of her freshly golden locks on Instagram this week. Sofia Vergara took a walk on the blond side in March, sharing a sexy selfie with fans via Twitter.

Minka Kelly left brunette goodbye (briefly—she's brunette again) when she lightened her locks back in April. Kelly's stylist and Hollywood's go-to girl for color, Tracy Cunningham, was also responsible for Chrissy Teigen and Drew Barrymore's hot blond summer hair.
