MUAOne Direction has already given millions of swooning fans "What Makes You Beautiful"—and now the boys are putting their own line of beauty products to the test.
The band has paired up with British cosmetics retailer MUA to release the Little Things makeup collection, a multiproduct line that will launch next week. The collection includes lipsticks, glosses and nail polishes with cute names like Harry Loves Strawberry and Louis Loves Vanilla. In a word: Yum!
This isn't Harry, Zayn, Louis, Niall and Liam's first foray into cosmetics—earlier in July, the boys partnered with Office Depot to launch a line of nail colors, notebooks, pens and other collectible items, with a portion of those proceeds going toward anti-bullying programs that will continue into the 2013 back-to-school season. The campaign will extend to print and digital advertising, as well as online and social media platforms.
If the band's past successes are any indication, this newest collection is going to go fast. Even better, the Little Things line is young-fan conscious, with most items priced under $5.
