2013 Emmy Nominees' Best Red Carpet Looks

The 2013 Emmy Award nominees have been announced and our minds are already on the red carpet fashion. Television's best will hit Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre this September in looks that are sure to wow, if these ladies' past award show garb is any indication.

Our favorite looks from the nominated ladies include a structured white-and-gold Alexander Vauthier gown with a high-slit to showcase Heidi Klum's sexy Christian Louboutin PVC pumps (worn to last year's Golden Globes). Funny gal Kristen Wiig wowed in a marigold J. Mendel frock at the 2011 Glamour Women of The Year Awards in London. And who can forget Kerry Washington's pink and gold-sequined Miu Miu confection from last year's Oscars? The column gown paired perfectly with her red Prada clutch and heels.

Other nominated actresses look best in short frocks, like Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss, who donned a slim-fitting leather Moschino dress and leopard Christian Louboutin heels to the Sundance Channel Original Programming Luncheon in Beverly Hills.

Past Emmy Award stand-outs have also come from Sofía Vergara, who stunned in a teal mermaid Zuhair Murad gown (that famously split at last year's ceremony) and Claire Danes, who attended the 2010 Emmys in an iridescent Armani Privé gown. Always one to make jaws drop, Christina Hendricks looked like a sultry Christmas morning in the bow-topped crimson Carolina Herrera frock she wore to the 2010 Screen Actors' Guild Awards.
