Summertime means it's time to soak up some sun!
And that's just what Lea Michele is doing. The Glee star recently returned from her vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with an extra golden glow.
And some down time might have been just what she needed with everything going on in her busy life right now.
After covering hits from pop princesses like Britney Spears and Katy Perry, the 26-year-old decided to record some material of her own. Her debut album is almost done and we can't wait! With upcoming filming and touring for Glee, we're also hoping she'll have enough free time do some touring for her own album.
So will she?
"I don't know," she told E!'s Marc Malkin about hitting the road. "We have to start next year for Glee and then we have another year after that so we'll see. I really am proud of it, so obviously I would want people to hear it."
And to add on to Michele's already full to-do list, her first book deal—a memoir titled Brunette Ambition. The book will be "part memoir, part how-to and part style-guide" and will chronicle Michele's life "from normal Bronx-born schoolgirl to Broadway child star to lead actress in one of the most popular shows on television," she said in a statement.
Luckily for us, this do-it-all woman appears to be great at balancing her career with her personal life with on-and-off-screen boyfriend Cory Monteith. The 31-year-old actor checked into rehab late March, and he was spotted at the end of April with his supportive GF at LAX on their way to Antigua.
The duo clearly loves (and deserves!) vacations as they were snapped just one month later in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. When June came around, the couple got back to work and reunited with their Glee costars.
This past weekend, however, Michele made sure to spend some girl-time with a friend and jetted to Cabo San Lucas for a short vacation, tweeting pictures in "paradise" all weekend.
"Such a fun weekend getaway with @SwitchBH! Feeling so revived & refreshed!" Michele posted upon her return with a fun collage of her fav photos to sum up her vacation.
You know what they say—work hard, play (and vacation) hard.
